Dear families,

Our staff returned this week for a week of preparation and professional learning, in readiness for the new school year.

We look forward to welcoming students and families back on Tuesday, 28 January.

First Day of School

Bell times

• 8:30 am: Transition period (classroom bag drop-off, Bibu outlook quiet time, library, oval play)
• 8:50 am: First bell for children to prepare for class
• 9:00 am: First session begins
• 10:00 am: Fruit snack for Early Years classes
• 11:00 am: First break (eating & play)
• 11:40 am: Middle session
• 1:40 pm: Second break (eating & play)
• 2:10 pm: Last session
• 3:00 pm: School concludes

On the first day back, classrooms will be open from 8.30am to assist children with the transition back to school.

Facilities Update

The holiday period is often a productive time for schools in terms of facilities upgrades. We’re excited to share the following improvements:

• Installation of a new junior classroom block next to the junior playground, complete with air-conditioning, interactive panels and wireless upgrades
• New windows in the library MySpace classroom, enhancing light and ventilation
• Deck upgrades, fence removal, and landscaping in the library courtyard
• Commencement of work on the refurbishment of the senior amenities. During this time, alternative arrangements for the hall amenities are in place.
• Topsoil and turf to another section of the school oval
• Drainage improvements to the school oval and playground areas
