Thank You to Our Incredible Team 

As we reflect on the success of our 125th Anniversary Celebration, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible team of organisers and volunteers who made it all possible. 

Despite the weather, the event was a true success — a celebration not just of 125 years of learning, but of the community spirit that makes our school so special. From early planning meetings to late-night preparations, every detail was brought to life by the tireless efforts of so many. 

Whether you were baking cakes, setting up gazebos, running the olden-day games, or lending a hand on the night — you were part of something truly special. Seeing so many familiar faces come together to celebrate 125 years was nothing short of inspiring. Your time, energy, and heart made this celebration unforgettable — and we are so grateful. 

A very special thank you goes to our school principal, Mrs Ingrid Freeman, whose unwavering support, hands-on leadership, and sense of community truly embodied the spirit of this event. Whether she was editing articles, collaborating with Teachers and Year 6 students, helping set up gazebos, her presence was felt in every corner of the celebration. Your commitment, energy, and vision helped bring this event to life in the most meaningful way. 

We are thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible support and generosity, we raised $10,000, which will go directly towards purchasing and restocking home readers and independent readers for our school library project. In addition, a total of 60 books were purchased to donate to the library by members of our community, and an additional $333 was raised from the Book Stall to help fund independent readers for our students. Your contributions will make a lasting impact on our students’ learning journeys and help foster a lifelong love of reading. 

To each and every person who played a role — no matter how big or small — thank you. You helped create a lasting memory for our school community, and your effort is deeply appreciated.
