It's Bullying No Way week! I hope you all enjoyed celebrating on Friday with free dress and crazy hair. It's a really special time to focus on kindness. I love this years theme: 'Be Bold. Be Kind. Speak Up.' It takes courage to speak up, it takes bravery to be bold, it takes tolerance to be kind. If you want to extend this year's focus into your family time why not add it to your table discussions: what did you do today to be kind? Did you do anything that required boldness? Did you have to speak up for anybody? How can you be a good friend to others? Think about your own life too? Your adult voice is powerful in your workplaces and in your family. When did you notice one of your co-workers or family members being kind, bold or speaking up? 

A big shout out to Bakers Delight Kenmore. Last week the final classes received their complementary bread loaves. It has been a privilege and honour to deliver these on behalf of a very generous and caring business. Thank you for your tremendous support of our school! It has made a difference. I will never forget seeing students eyes light up when I tell them that businesses care about them too. It takes a village to raise a child, so thankyou for contributing to our wellbeing.
