I've begun trying to find some resources that explain some of the concepts I learnt  as part of my studies in a format that is easy to understand for Primary students. I have a love and passion for good conflict management. Here are two short videos that speak about different conflict styles and miscommunication in a way a primary school student will understand. 

 

The first video is about conflict style. There are positives and negatives to every conflict style. What style comes most naturally to you? Sometimes our conflict style is slightly different in our context too. What style do you have at work? Which one is your default at home? Is there anything you can refine to make sure you operate from a place of strength? I tend to be accommodating and am working at being assertive so that I retain the strength of my style whilst minimising the negative.

This second video is a TED-ed video about miscommunication. It's more complex so is more relevant to senior students or to yourself. It goes for under 5mins and the last portion has some great strategies to improve communication. Have a look!
